Classifications Spring iV TTT League
This is a time flexible TTT race series on indieVelo with a variety of courses and categories designed to cater for riders of all abilities. The ethos of the series is based upon fun, fair and hard racing between interested teams. This series will run from 17th March 2024 to 9th June 2024 (12 weeks).
Every 2 weeks we will publish a longer TTT route (typically 45 minutes). This will be called the "Champion route". We will also publish a shorter TTT route (typically 15 minutes) called the "Challenge route". In total there will be 6 Champion and 6 Challenge routes selected.
Teams will have 2 weeks to complete one or both routes and the time period will run from 1700 GMT on Sundays. The finishing time will be taken from the 3rd rider across the line.
Teams should be 3-6 riders in size. A team can ride one or both TTTs as many times as they like in the 2 week period to try and improve their time or beat a close competitor. A single rider can ride for more than 1 team (presumably within the same club but this is not mandatory) especially if it makes the difference between participating or not.
This series will just have an Open category. Points will be allocated at the end of each 2 week period using the US Crit points system. There will be a leaderboard for the Champion and Challenge routes as well as a Combined (or overall) leaderboard.
Team captains should set up their TTT race as per the fortnightly specification which will be posted on discord. Please include "TTT Champion (or Challenge) route race 1,2,3 etc" in the event title. There will be no wind and the weather will always be clear for the TTTs! Please set up the event as a scratch (rather than a team scratch) race.
IMPORTANT: Can team captains please send me their .csv file (by DM or email) after riding and I will upload to the system asap. Please include the following information with your DM:
Name and date of your TTT Champion (long) or Challenge (short) route Team name (no spelling mistakes please)
For this series, there will be no PV checks applied.

Results Race 3 Challenge route
CHALLENGE ROUTE: Now this is where it gets interesting! We are going to try something different here. I am giving you an extra person in your team. Well, actually a pacebot! The route is 12500m of Coastal loop but you have a pacebot for 12000m. The pacebot can be set at increasing, decreasing or level power but use Mr White carefully. Set the power too low and the team will go slower. Too high and watch him disappear into the distance and derive no benefit. If you get it right, by doing a TTT behind the bot, you can all benefit from extra draft and go even faster than normal. I know it's a bit gimmicky but hey........ Set up in the photo in case you are unsure....Remember the pacebot is 70kg so you can work out your wpk and power from that....
